A LOT of movement this week. But there's still one large shoe waiting to drop this offseason, and that of course is Robinson Cano. Cano's career appears to be heading out of New York and heading 2,870 miles west to Seattle. The Mariners are, reportedly, offering Cano $225 million over 9 years to which Yankee brass have responded with, "If that's what they're offering, he's gone." Cano turned 31 in October. Is he really worth this much money with maybe 4-5 years left in his prime? The Mariners already made a splash last offseason by locking up their former Cy Young winner, Felix Hernandez. By giving Cano this type of contract, can the Mariners really be competitive? Check out Cano's options over at ESPN. http://es.pn/1f1TQWU
