Anybody stay up to watch the end of the Baltimore Orioles v. Tampa Bay Rays game last night? I didn't think so. The game lasted 18 innings and lasted a grand total of 6 hours and 54 minutes, officially making it the longest game in the history of both franchises. The marathon finally ended on a walk off RBI single by David DeJesus. The game finished up just after 2am Eastern Time, making it the latest ending to a game at Tropicana Field. Oh, and both teams are scheduled to play again at 1:05 Eastern Time today. September baseball is awesome! (Photo c/o Associated Press--Phelan M. Ebenhack
