BALLPARK FUN FACT: Wrigley Field' trademark has to be the ivy covered outfield walls, which is funny because the ivy wasn't there for the ballpark's first 25 years of existence. Wrigley underwent extensive changes before the 1937 season that included rebuilding the outfield walls and constructing the scoreboard we know today. Here's a pick from early in the 1937 season where it's very clear no ivy had not fully grown yet. Also notice the scoreboard does not have the trademark clock at the top. That wouldn't be added on until later.
