Baseball lost one of its greatest sluggers today as Ralph Kiner passed away at the age of 91. Kiner spent ten seasons in the Majors from 1946-1955 spending time with the Pirates, Cubs and Indians. Kiner had prodigious power, leading the league in homers six times. Had injuries not cut his career short, Kiner would have easily hit 500 homers in his career. Kinder was inducted into Cooperstown in 1975 and never missed an induction ceremony. Read more about Kiner’s playing and baseball career over at MLB.com. http://atmlb.com/1eYRfKR
