Jim Fregosi passed away this morning at the age of 71 due to complications from a stroke he experienced on an MLB alumni cruise. Fregosi had a lifetime career in baseball spending 18 years in the league as a player with the Angels, Mets, Rangers and the Pirates. He found greater success as a manager of the Phillies in the early 90s, leading Philadelphia to the National League Pennant in 1993.
