Jim Leyland has stepped down as manager of the Detroit Tigers after 8 seasons at the helm. At a press conference this morning, a tearful Leyland stated his age was the biggest factor and admitted, "The fuel was getting a little low." During his tenure, the Tigers made the playoffs 4 times; winning the American League Pennant in 2006 and 2012.
