Michael Pineda appears to have received a little help from a gooey-like substance on his pitching hand last night.  Pineda claims it was

Michael Pineda appears to have received a little help from a gooey-like substance on his pitching hand last night. Pineda claims it was just dirt, but dirt normally is not that shiny or sticky. Now the question is, why did the Red Sox not do anything about it? And is a pitcher using pine tar (which is what Pineda was most likely using) that big of a deal in the game?
