Not sure things could have gone much worse for the Cardinals in Game 1 of the 2013 World Series last night. Adam Wainwright was not sharp and the defense was no where to be found. Now, some fans are crying foul as pitcher Jon Lester of the Red Sox was caught with some form of foreign substance on his glove. Cheating or not, this isn't the reason the Cardinals lost, and to their credit they are calling it a "non-issue." If anything, this probably means Lester will be under intense scrutiny the next time he pitches this series, which would be Game 5 in St. Louis. Read the story over at Yahoo!
