The regular season hasn't even ended yet (technically) and we already have our first casualty. Dale Sveum has been fired as the manager of the Chicago Cubs. Sveum had one year left on a three year deal that he signed prior to the 2012 season. The reason for his signing was not for poor win-loss records in his two seasons at the helm, but for poor player development as shortstop, Starlin Castro and first baseman, Anthony Rizzo regressed in their production and performance this year. Do you agree or disagree with this move? Read more about it, including comments from GM Theo Epstein at ESPN Chicago. http://es.pn/1bWQEwN
