The Royals may have lost the AL Central yesterday on one of the more bizarre plays of the year. Ian Kinsler caught a liner and tried to double up the runner at 2nd, but ended up throwing the ball into left fied, allowing Salvador Perez to score. Just one problem, Perez never tagged up at 3rd after the catch, and the Tiger bench noticed his base running gaffe. Confusion on both sides ensued. http://atmlb.com/1DqOK3v
