The state of Texas is losing another of its baseball icons of the last decade. Michael Young, who spent 13 years with the Texas Rangers before playing for the Phillies and the Dodgers last season, has decided to call it a career at the age of 37. Young finishes his playing days with a .300 batting average and he led the American League in hits twice, most recently in 2011. While most likely not a Hall of Famer, Young will definitely go down as a fan favorite. Read more about Young’s retirement over at CBSSports.com. http://cbsprt.co/1fi02ck
