The World Series enters Game 6 tonight, though this series might already have been over if it weren't for the obstruction call in Game 3. While the ending was bizarre, the call itself was not. However, this isn't stopping MLB from looking into the obstruction rule. Specifically, they will look at the "intent" portion of the rule. As it stands now, intent is not necessary to call obstruction. But is it really fair for umpires to judge whether or not contact with a base runner is accidental or not?
