To no one's surprise, former MLB managers Tony LaRussa, Bobby Cox and Joe Torre were all elected to enter Cooperstown today. All three managers combined for a total of 7,588 wins and 8 World Series Championships. For Cox, his induction could be very special as he could be inducted with Tom Glavine and Greg Maddux who anchored his Braves pitching staff in the 90s. While these three definitely deserve this honor, there is one glaring omission on everyone's ballot. That being Marvin Miller, the creator of free agency as we know it. Check out some comments from former head of the MLBPA, Donald Fehr and others on why Miller hasn't been inducted yet, despite his vast contributions to the game. http://deadsp.in/1bsCwsR
